Tally Ho Equestrian Centre is managed by AQHA World Champion & Grand Prix rider and trainer Amara Packwood. Amara is a full time professional equestrian having shown and trained horses for over a decade and holding a B.S. in Equestrian Science. Our staff has years of horse experience.

Located in Leavenworth, KS- just north of Kansas City- we are 2 minutes off of 7 HWY and 15 minutes from I-70/Kansas Speedway. THEC is a few minutes from Ft. Leavenworth, Lansing, Easton, Basehor, Piper and Bonner Springs. We are also an easy drive from Tongonoxie, Platte City, Atchison, Olathe and Kansas City Kansas.

At Tally Ho Equestrian Centre we insist on kind handling and the top care of your equine, you can be assured your boarded horse is in the best of hands when you are away.

Amara's lesson & training program is top notch, producing effective riders and willing horses.

12/14/2011: THEC is building additional stalls in our barn! One is already spoken for, but we will have a 2nd and possibly a 3rd stall available for full board starting January 1st.

11/19/2011: THEC Barn Show was a blast! Thanks to all the students who attended and all the family and friends who came to support them.

New addition to our website... we will be featuring some of our show horses, boarders and students on a new page titled "Stars" in the links to the left. Work in Progress :-)

3/16/2010:

CONGRATS! to Amara and her mounts, Prince Dell Te Fire (Prior 2x World Champion) and Queen of Dee Nile who are BOTH qualified for AQHA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Jumping! This will Be Queen of Dee Nile's (aka Isis) first trip to World Championships. We look forward to seeing them compete in November.

11/10/2010:
Prince Dell Te Fire received 3rd place honors at World Championships and (lesson horse!) Sequoia Sunset finished in the top 15. Congratulations to Amara and both her fine mounts!
