"Feathers"

Percheron x Paint

2002 Mare

16 hands

Black & White Pinto

$4,100

Feathers is currently in training with Amara Packwood, her price will increase with training.

From Amara: "Prior to coming to THEC she was a 9 year old girls trail horse for nearly a year. I purchased her to train her into a field hunter. She has a huge, flowy trot and great form when free jumped. Very kind and willing nature and a quick learner. With more training she will be very suitable for a beginner child or adult rider."

1/08/08 "At this point in her training Feathers is now pretty steady in the arena at walk/trot. I've started her over small fences and she really enjoys it. She will also ride and jump bareback. Feathers had never been in a barn prior to coming here, so she needs more ground work inside (outside she is much better). Currently she is suitable for a confident intermediate or advanced rider that is able to continue her training."

4/01/08 "Feathers is much better on her ground manners but still needs work. She has been doing w/t/c in the arena and jumping 2' fences. Price will be raised soon."

*Located at THEC. Contact Amara for more information or to make an appointment to view.

"Comet"

Paint

September 2007 Stud Colt

Bay Pinto

From Amara: "Comet came as a surprise gift from an AQHA mare I purchased. His dam is 14.2 hands and his sire 16.0 hands so he should mature to around 15.1 hands. He is registerable as a paint. Comet has a very nice trot and great athletic muscling. He is one of the best marked paints I have seen- flashy bay with 3 stockings and a high sock. His full brother could jump out of 4' fences as a yearling (I was thrilled to have him greet me at the house each morning, haha). Comet is very friendly and brave, he knows how to pick up his feet and is lightly halter broke."

4/04/08 SOLD - Congratulations to the Rodgers family!
